Discover Killarney

Killarney is located north of the MacGillicuddy Reeks, in southwestern Ireland. The town and its surrounding region is home to St. Mary's Cathedral, Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall and Gap of Dunloe. It was awarded the "Best Kept Town" in 2007 in a cross border competition, cruising into the town and you can clearly see why. Tourism is the largest industry in Killarney by far, in which the population is increasingly diverse however a significant proportion of tourists originate from the US, Ireland, the UK, Germany and other European countries.

There is a lot to do within the town of Killarney before taking a cruise around the beautiful sorrounding countryside. Restaurants, pubs, bars and hotels are all situated around the centre to cater for all visitor needs, plus having the added bonus of jaunting cars in the town. The main attractions of the town itself are: The Killarney National Park, Ross Castle, lakes of Killarney, Muckross House, the black valley and more.
